I am the transformational leader that Ghana needs. I have the God-given talent, experience and knowledge to bring relief to Ghanaians and lead them to a brighter future.
Alan Kyerematen is a renowned Ghanaian statesman with a rich career in international trade, public policy, enterprise development, politics, diplomacy, and law.
He was born on October 3, 1955, in Kumasi, Ghana, to Dr. Alexander Atta Yaw Kyerematen and Mrs. Victoria Kyerematen (née Welsing). Alan’s secondary education was completed at Adisadel College and Achimota School of Cape Coast and Accra, respectively.
He then pursued a degree in Economics at the University of Ghana and qualified as a Barrister-at-Law from the Ghana Law School.
I envision a Ghana where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. Ghana transformed into a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable economy, powered by Industrialization innovation, entrepreneurship, and a skilled workforce. A Ghana where the youth are empowered to be the architects of their own future, and where every community is a center of progress and prosperity.
The success of the GTP will depend primarily on strong macroeconomic fundamentals, which will include among other things, a stable currency, low inflation, sustainable debt levels, revenue optimisation and tight expenditure control which will guarantee fiscal balance, low interest, strong external reserves backed by high levels of liquidity to support the financial sector.
