Witney Carson gone from Dancing With the Stars  in 2017 due to her father-in-law, Kevin McAllister, being diagnosed with cancer and needing to be near her husband, Carson McAllister.

Witney Carson she was also gone in 2014. Whiney Carson  learned she had melanoma and underwent two surgeries to remove the cancer in 2014

Carson had an inch of skin removed from around a mole on her foot, as well as all of her lymph nodes in her left hip, due to the cancer’s “rapid spread.”

Whitney Carson recovered and was back on the dancefloor performing in 2014. On November 25, 2014, she and her partner Alfonso Ribeiro were announced the winners of season 19,

The win made her one of six professional dancers to win the mirror ball trophy within their first two seasons, while Ribeiro had to wait ten years. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography that season.

Throughout her dance career, Carson has worked with dancers and choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Nappytabs, Travis Wall, Sonya Tayeh, Tyce Diorio, Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, and Stacey Tookey.
