Coming to this episode there are only four trucks left in the race with two pros and two rookies. Khana, D’Pura Cepa, Da Bald Guy, and Easy Vegan.

While this season has seen a lot of drama, in the end, it is about the food and the chance to win $50,000.

In the last episode, 5 we saw Lisa’s Creperie get eliminated from the race, and the winner for the first time was The Easy Vegan.

The challenge of episode 6 was to turn an iconic family recipe into a vegan one. The team who manages to impress Evanice Holz, the judge for the episode gets $300 added to their till.

On top of that the trucks have a selling challenge that will give them an advantage on day two.

The food was then judged by Tyler and Evanice. Khana went first and got a note on the way to make the curry better. D’Pura Cepa was asked to add a bit of heat to their dish and Da Bald Guy’s only note was to add some brightness.

Easy Vegan got no note. Soon after the selling began with some trucks making good sales while some less.

The team that won the $300 bonus for the taste challenge was Easy Vegan. The team even won the overall selling challenge.

For day two, the teams would pair with other trucks and average their sales at the end of the day. Easy Vegan got to choose D’Pura Cepa, Khana, and Da Bald Guy were left to pair.

For the day two challenge, the trucks had to prepare a dish inspired by Tyler’s family dish. $400 was up for their tills. ($200 for the tasting challenge and $200 for the selling challenge).

Tyler liked Da Bald Guy’s banana pudding recipe earning them $200 extra in their till. Another $200 was won by D’Pura Cepa.

So finally, D’Pura Cepa is in first place followed by Easy Vegan in second position. This means Da Bald Guy and Khana were at the bottom.

Sadly, the team who won the first four episodes consecutively Da Bald Guy had to go home

What Happened to Khana food truck?

Khana food truck was fired from The Great Food Truck Race. It is the first time the show ever witnessed someone fired on camera.

During elimination, Tyler pointed out how the battle can change a team’s nature before the show. The issue between Maryam and Jake was discussed after being pulled aside by Tyler and the Great Food Truck Race producer.

Khan decided to move away from their partner, Jake, after a chat.

Sadly, Khana was not only involved with just two people, but the remaining teams seemed to have lost respect for them.

The truck received a fun fan surprise from Kumail Nanjiani and his wife, Emily, as they showed up to try their food.

It was a lovely moment for the truck as they met the actor, which also turned into an emotional scene over the Pakistani food.

Right after this ticket, the truck got a huge order from a nearby cafe with a motive to feed everyone there as a way of supporting the Khana food truck.

The team earned some hatred as well. A tweet is surfacing, pointing hatred towards the team. It reads,”I watch The Great Food Truck Race. That team Khana should NEVER have been allowed a replacement based on just kicking the other guy to the curb.”
