Tony Yeager, 24, was detained on a second-degree felony fugitive from a justice warrant.
After an original charge of homicide-vehicular manslaughter in Boone County in July 2019, the defendant is listed on the National Criminal Information Center in Kentucky on a full-extradition warrant for a probation violation.

The car was originally seen about 3700 S. 2800 West, then proceeded south on 2700 West to 4700 South before heading west to Bangerter Highway. It then headed south from 4700 S. Bangerter to 7000 South, where it halted in Jordan Landing.
He was the one who lost control of Camp Ernst Road as he drove south. His automobile slid across two yards, collided with a tree, and then flipped into an adjacent yard. Email Borders, 19, was killed, and two 15-year-old passengers were injured.
Lt. Chris Hall of Boone County leads the reconstruction crew. Yeager and the other passengers in the car told investigators they swerved to avoid a deer, but deputies claim there was another reason at play.
Yeager was arrested on many counts, including manslaughter and driving under the influence. Yeager’s lawyer claimed it was an accident and that Yeager tried everything he could to assist his companions.

A 17-year-old kid was subsequently receiving treatment for multiple stab wounds at York Hospital.
Yeager’s bond was set at $225,000 by the judge. He is still being held in the Boone County Jail.
