Inside, it is also quite well maintained, but the standard of service leaves something to be desired, being slow and often unresponsive (seemingly unsupervised).
The hotel is clean and quite comfortable; the a/c worked well.
Breakfast was unimaginative; we ate other meals at the nearby Linda Dor restaurant on the highway, which is quite decent.
The hotel has a fridge in the lobby with cold beer, whichis quite cheap (GH ¢ 5.00, as I recall, compared with 7.00 or 8.00 in most hotels in Ghana).
The hotel is close to excellent birding locations in the Atewa Range reserve.
