Natisha Hiedeman is a basketball player who plays professionally in the Women’s National Basketball Association for the Connecticut Sun (WNBA).  In the 2019 WNBA Draft, she was drafted as the eighteenth overall pick.

After being the leading scorer in the Green Bay Metro area in high school while attending Green Bay Southwest High School, she was recruited to Marquette.

Talking about her achievements, she was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team her freshman year at Marquette. She was also named to the Meyers Drysdale Award Watch List for the 2017–18 season.

Hiedeman had a hyperextension in her left leg and had to wear a full-body harness shortly after her birth. In addition to playing basketball, Natisha also played baseball in her childhood. In fact, she was the only girl on the baseball team.

It is believed that Natisha’s and her brother’s talents come from their father, Cohen II. Growing up in Kenosha, Cohen II’s outlet was basketball.

Since Natisha always had a ball with her, Shelly knew that Natisha would become a basketball player when she grew up.

According to Green Bay Press-Gazette, Natisha was born one month before Shelly’s 20th birthday. The mother-daughter duo got baptized at St.Agnes Parish, and at that moment, Shelly asked her friend Angie to be Natisha’s godmother.

Just like Natasha, Sandy is also a professional basketball player. On loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv, he plays basketball for Bnei Herzliya of the Israeli Premier League.

He used to play college basketball for Marquette University and later the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. He was a standout at Seymour Community High School, leading the team to two Bay Conference championships.

In August 2019, Cohen signed a four-year contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv after going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft.
